I reckon you could eat here for a month and still not have explored the whole menu. We went for pizzas because we had become a bit 'fished out' and they were exceptional in every way, with thin bases and just the right amount of delicious topping. The wines were good value too and the place was packed by eight on a Monday evening in October when the other places around were close to empty. Two pizzas, a great bottle of local wine, and full to bursting for 37 euros! Only pity was going there on our last night as we would have surely returned. A good reason to return to Cadaques! Brilliant place.
We were in a mood for Pizza so stopped here. Small, crowded, tables extremely close together but we loved the pizza Margarita. Thin crust, crispy, sweet tomato sauce. We happen to see a huge bowl of Mussels so we ordered those as well. Yummmmmm! Fresh cooked in garlic and wine. Delicious! Washed down with cold beers.
The food was really quite nice, the service, not so much, first time I have ever ordered a bottle of wine and was not shown the lable. When I was able to look at the lable, it was not the wine I ordered. The spinach salad was really fantastic, the pizza was well received and the seafood pasta was nice too. Due to the off-season, the restaurant was relatively quiet, a rare find.
